I don't have a big problem with Mondays, but a lot of people do! You know what I think makes a bad day turn into a good one though? Some DANG good music! Thank goodness you get to read this than huh?! No worries!
Another wonderful Alternative-ish band! Neko Case has a peculiar or a kind of haunting voice, and makes for good background sound. Something your just KIND of listening to while your working on something, you know? Before becoming one of the most original voices of
alt-country, Virginia-native and Tacoma (Washington) resident Neko Case got her
training in an all-female punk-pop band called Maow. She has later transformed
into a country singer and started serenading with a coarse, gritty, passion of
a Bruce Springsteen and The Raw, drunken energy of cow-punks. Not TYPICALLY my
style, but I really enjoy this song!

LYRICS!
My love, I am the speed of soundI left them motherless, fatherlessTheir souls they hang inside-out from their mouthsBut it's never enough
I want you
Carved your name across three countiesGround it in with bloody hidesTheir broken necks will line the ditch'til you stop it, stop itStop this madness
I want you
I have waited with a glacier's patienceSmashed every transformer with every trailer'til nothing was standing65 miles wideStill you are nowhereStill you are nowhereNowhere in sight
Come out to meet meRun out to meet meCome in to the light
Climb the boxcars to the engine through the smoke into the skyYour rails have always outrun mineSo I pick them up and crash them downIn a moment close to nowCuz I miss, I miss, I miss, I miss, I miss, I miss, I missI miss how you'd sigh yourself to sleep
When I raked the springtime across your sheets
My love, I am the speed of soundI left them motherless, fatherlessTheir souls they hang inside-out from their mouthsBut it's never enough
My loveI'm an owl on the sill in the eveningBut morning finds youStill warm and breathing
This tornado loves youWhat will make you believe me?This tornado loves youWhat will make you believe me?
